BMI versus BRI for health assessment

Should BMI (Body Mass Index) be replaced with BRI (Body Roundness Index) ?

Is BRI the New BMI? A new metric for assessing body weight is gaining traction, giving doctors a clearer picture of how body size may impact chronic disease and overall health risks. Very appropriate and research-based article. Makes a lot of sense and along the lines of emphasizing “roundness” including waist circumference as a surrogate marker for visceral fat and poor health outcomes.
